Our capsule stretch belt is assembled using excess materials obtained during the manufacturing processes of fast-fashion and luxury brands. Traditionally, these materials often end up in landfills or get incinerated. However, at écotorie we store and restore these leather trimmings to curate premium accessories that do not involve utilizing new materials.  

Sustainability

The Capsule Stretch Belt is made using 85% upcycled materials. In essence, upcycling materials has two major impacts on our environment: 

• Eliminating energy, carbon, and water consumption by not utilizing new materials; and
• Preventing surplus materials from ending up in landfills or getting incinerated - indirectly offsetting our carbon footprint.

Our packaging comprises of 100% recycled craft paper with an organic cotton dust bag. All the hardware used is free of heavy metals.
