In 2018 alone, the fashion industry produced 2.1 Billion tones of CO2 emission's through the energy intensive supply chain mechanism and the waste management techniques that involve incineration or the dumping of textiles in landfills. What's shocking is 95% of the fashion waste can be re-used for further use. écotorie closely works with its suppliers to make sure the surplus materials produced from their factories during production runs for traditional fashion houses is put to further use rather that being dumped by a truck in a near by landfill.
